My newborn sessions are all about capturing the essence of your baby and the details that make them so special. The little things you can't stop looking at since your baby was born,
the details you will want to remember forever. I shoot simplistically without using props and my style is known to be natural and authentic.
Sessions are baby led, with a strong focus on the connection between you and your baby.
Newborns are typically photographed before they are 2 weeks old, while they are still very small, sleepy and content. Some babies are still content enough to be photographed past the first 2 weeks, if not you can wait until your baby is 3/4 months old which is usually the next good age for photos.
All my newborn sessions are done on a week days starting at 10:30 or 11am.
Because we don't know when will your baby arrive I am not able to take pre bookings for newborn sessions, but if you like you can enquire while you are still pregnant and I will send you all details so you can get organised. Once your baby was born, you are both doing well and you know which dates would suit for your newborn session, you can contact me and I will let you know what are the next available dates. If any of those suit, you can book in by paying the session fee invoice I will send.
After you arrive to my natural light studio, you can tell me if you prefer more relaxed/lifestyle or natural posed images and generally what do you like and what you don't like. We can pick the colour scheme and the style of your natural newborn photos.
My small studio is always nice and warm, it has hand sanitising station, changing basket and outdoor bathroom.
All my packages include family and sibling photos so you will get beautiful selection of images to choose from.
W H A T T O W E A R
Any soft, pastel or neutral colour tops are great. Light or dusty pink, peach, light blue, light grey, white or light brown. Small patterns for girls or mammies look beautiful in photos. Try to avoid neon and bold colours, colour block and logos and signs on t-shirts. Plain tops or tank tops with cardigan, blouses, off shoulders tops, tops with lace, light summer maxi dresses are all great for mothers. Bare feet for even more relaxed photos. Light grey tees or white/light blue shirts with pair of jeans or brown trousers for fathers. For dark/moody family photos black or dark tops. Light summer dresses without tights, cotton tops or blouses, rompers or dungarees look cute on little girls and for little boys again dungarees are super cute with or without t-shirt, plain white tee with light brown trousers or shorts, snug jeans. Babies under 1 year of age look best just in a nice bodysuit, white vest or again plain rompers. I love buying these from Zara for my own kids, they are not expensive and look really nice in photos.
